The founder of the equine photography academy
Eliane van Schaik

Eliane has been working as a photographer and creative entrepreneur in her own business for more than 15 years.
As a passionate photographer and horse lover, Eliane specializes in capturing the unique bond between humans and horses in the niche of Romantic Horse Photography.
Her expertise can be seen in the TV program “Het Perfecte Plaatje” on RTL, her participation in “Liefde voor Paarden,” and her photography handbook, which is available at major equestrian stores. Eliane also gave clinics for several years at the largest equestrian event in the Netherlands, Horse Event.
The idea behind The Equine Photography Evolution
When Eliane started her own horse photography, she had to figure everything out on her own. Camera settings, post-processing, developing her style, setting prices, learning marketing... there was no clear path. Just disparate information.
She saw this fragmentation not only in herself, but also in other photographers.
That's why she developed the Horse Photography Academy as a structured growth platform. Not as a collection of separate courses, but as a clear method.
In her view, true style only emerges when technique is no longer a question. And professional positioning only begins when you know who you are as a photographer.
